Sigma Nu is the place where we had a lot of firsts. It’s the place where we first ventured out of our hometowns, the first place we bonded to on campus, and the place where we first learned how to be real men. Read on to see what one brother said on how Sigma Nu impacted their life.
Mark Smith ’78 was initially attracted to Sigma Nu by a welcoming and open atmosphere. “I can look back and say we were inclusive before it was a ‘thing.’ I don’t think any of us fit a certain mold, and I definitely don’t recall a single rush meeting where we discussed someone and how they did or didn’t fit a certain mold,” Mark said.
