We want to take this time to say THANK YOU to Pat McKenna ’74 for his continued support of Gamma Alpha Chapter of Sigma Nu over the years. We recently caught up with Pat and asked him about where life has taken him, Sigma Nu memories, and what Gamma Alpha Chapter means to him today. Here’s what he had to say.

Why have you remained so dedicated to Sigma Nu?

I had the opportunity to be involved with the chapter as an alumni advisor and with the house corporation.

I am one of three brothers who were members of Gamma Alpha.  I followed my older brother Andy and in turn was followed by my younger brother Matt.  Between us, we spanned something on the order of 16 years of membership in the active chapter.  My involvement with the chapter has enabled me to build upon the connections made during those years and has resulted in a host of new friendships as I’ve gotten to know other members over time.

How has being in Sigma Nu changed your life?

Gamma Alpha provided a friendly place in a sometimes overwhelming university environment.  There I was able to develop lasting friendships and skills that have since served me well.
